OUR EVENTS
Our gatherings bring together people from diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural communities to engage in honest dialogue, political education, and collective care. We create spaces where hard conversations can happen with dignity so we can learn, unlearn, and act in solidarity.

The Summer Soirée
Join Us for SASM’s Annual Summer Soirée! The work of building a more just world asks a lot of us. It asks us to pay attention, to stay engaged, to keep showing up. But movements aren’t sustained by strategy alone.
They’re sustained by the conversations that happen after the meeting ends. The unexpected connections that cause us to linger until it’s time to lock up the venue. The moments when strangers become comrades and friends.
This August, we’re gathering for an evening of levity, with tasty drinks, small bites, thoughtful conversation, and the chance to spend time together outside the urgency of the work. Whether you’re a longtime member of the SASM community or newly curious about who we are, we’d love to see you there.
The SASM team will provide light appetizers. Drinks will be on attendees personal tab. Feel free to bring a friend or come as you are.
